We’re gearing up for the next installment of our 2013 webinar series. Have you marked your calendar? We all know that feeding the critically ill patient presents unique challenges, so A.S.P.E.N. is bringing you a webinar to identify ways of overcoming these barriers and implementing the new PEPuP protocol at your institution.
Not familiar with the PEPuP protocol? PEPuP stands for Protein-Energy Provision via the Enteral Route in Critically Ill Patients, and is a pilot study led by Daren Heyland and Critical Care Medicine to end malnutrition in patients prescribed EN who do not receive adequate nutrients needed.
Ideal for pharmacists and other clinicians administering EN to critically ill patients with an intermediate or higher level understanding of EN, this webinar will be presented by Daren Heyland, MD, FRCP, MSc, and moderated by Karrie Derenski, PharmD, BCNSP, CNSC, and is supported in part by Nestlé Health Science.
1.5 CE credits are available for live participation, and the webinar will be recorded for future viewing and made available on A.S.P.E.N.’s eLearning Center.
